With the new Peer-to-Peer system added in 26.2 Snapshot 7, I think it's wonderful you don't need to host a realm or server to play with friends online within Java Edition. Something I feel that should be put into consideration is the ability to make a world always host online without you needing to manually host it. This is generally a QoL feature I feel should be included in Java, as Bedrock's world settings has this as a toggle within the multiplayer section. My idea for how this would be done is by adding a button/toggle should be added during world creation and inside the settings of worlds that allows for this to be handled, pretty much bar-for-bar how Bedrock does it.
