Breeding stats on new mounts

Until now the only improbable mounts have been to old ones (horses, mules and donkeys) none of the newer ones can be improved nor do they have different stats from each other. It would be really fun if there was an overall update that changed how stats work in mounts and maybe added new hybrids like the cama.
