It has come to my attention that villagers have been bullied and harmed, I think that players should have consequences for those actions.
Many youtubers consistently steal from Villagers, destroy their houses, and kill them, for no apparent reason. If there was a reason why you shouldn't do that, then it might discourage it. My idea is: when you enter within ten blocks of a village, a book, or a Billboard like structure is marked with your username. And an effect is applied to you (something to do with how the Villagers think of you). It is instantly set to level 50, meaning that the Villagers are wary of you. If you trade with the Villagers, give them items or blocks, repair the Iron Golem or spawn more. It increases the effect. (So the Villagers are less wary and like the player more). But if you enter a Villager's house without permission, steal from them, break crops and blocks, damage or kill the Iron Golem, hurt or kill a Villager. It lowers the effect. If it hit 0 you are kill on sight. Also the Villagers should be able to defend themselves with throwable fruits or vegetables, or wooden, stone, or iron tools. But if the effect hits 0 then they can defend themselves with weapons.
That is my idea. Mojang, if you want to add this or some of the stuff you can edit it.
