Dire Wolf as a tame able creature

Dire Wolves are a large and extinct cousin of the wolf. These could spawn in snowy biomes, or rarely in forests. They could spawn in packs of dire wolves, or a mix of direwolf, and regular wolves. These could be tamed with some difficulty. These could have a hostile attitude to the player, making it hard to feed it. Perhaps using a lead and a sheep, you can take its aggro off, pacifying it for a short time, or as it attacks that is your only window of opportunity to tame it. These would be big enough to ride on, and deal more damage, and have more health. Skeletons could instinctively fear it, path finding away from it when close. A new armour for the firewood could spawn in certain structures. It would be horse armour but for the Direwolf. There should be a way to attack with the Firewood when mounted. How this would be balanced is a mystery, but it would be a cool addition to minecraft. Perhaps a nether varient could spawn, as a hostile untamable. Creature.
