The oceans get a deep sea revamp with waves and with more big and intense ocean animals like sharks, whales, orcas, giant squid, seals. There types of sea creatures that would spawn would depend on the ocean temperature.
A bigger boat that could hold multiple players would be added. Pillager pirate ships could be found stranded in oceans decked with the new cannon ball mechanisms that could only be attained by ship raids. The Cannon would have a lock on target system but with a massive reload time. The ships would have lute and a tougher raid than an outpost.
A new structure. The Pillager City. One of the rarest structures in the game, acquired by piecing together a map found by a piece you’d get from every Pirate ship raid. The City would be stranded on its own pirate island in the middle of the ocean with walls surrounding it, and guaranteed netherite lute. It would be decked in cannons and air defence and loaded with equipped pillagers ready for battle. It would be impossible to encounter without the full blown enchanted weapons and armour required, but even with that it would require serious game-plan and strategy. The base of the island its sitting on would be completely bedrock, no chance of digging through. At the centre of the City would be the pillager’s giant hall, inhabited by the newest boss in the game, The Pillager King. Don’t know what you’d get from defeating him probably something pretty cool and maybe his head or something to display as a victory token.
