I know this is a long shot, but after 10+ years I'm tired of having no options.
I own and manage a minecraft Bedrock 3rd party server. Im aware that Mojang is not a fan of 3rd party servers and don't attempt to do anything to assist them.
Making this post to ask for the Mojang team to implement some protections to their game client to allow 3rd party servers to be able to actually ban users from them. Right now if you get banned from a 3rd party server, all you need to do is sign into a new xbox account, run a VPN or proxy to change your IP, and edit your clients clientId.
Im sure that Mojang will not implement rules to prevent someone from swapping xbox accounts or IPs on the Bedrock Client. But could they at least make it possible so that you cannot just go into your devices files and edit the "clientId.txt" file to completely change your games client ID, making you seem like a new user.
Its frustrating when users will use 3rd party clients to cheat and ruin the experience of other players and when we attempt to ban the user from our server, they can simply get back in within a few minutes without any sort of issue. Making bans pretty much useless. Its been a back and forth battle for years and all I'm asking for is for a little protection to be added to the Bedrocks client files to prevent this kind of bypass.
