Feeding passive and neutral mobs

Right now, only foxes can eat food without going into love mode. Whenever I try to feed my other pets, they go into love mode even if I don't try to breed them. Add a feature where you can drop mob food and they will pick it up and eat it. Wolves eat meat, pigs and rabbits eat carrots, so on. Mobs need food, too! Eating should restore health for mobs but should not trigger love mode. Love mode whenever you feed your pets is annoying. Mobs can gain your trust this way.
