The idea is to create new types of the sames ores that already exist in Minecraft. Since the addition of Sulfur Caves, the ores that spawn next to the new blocks look inorganic and eye-catching.
And this applies not only to cinnabar and sulfur, but also to existing ones, like andesite, diorite, granite and other caves block types.
Perphaps it's time to add new ore subtypes (beside stone and deepslate) to address this issue, which would add new varienty to the caves.
