Hey Mojang, I noticed that the chiseled Cinnabar blocks in the new update show a spider-like pattern, but we don't have a mob for it yet. It would be so much cooler if we actually had a "Cinnabar Lurker" living in these caves!
How it works:
The spider should hide near the glowing Cinnabar crystals. At first, it stays at a distance and shoots red webs to slow you down. If you don’t kill it quickly with 2-3 crits, it jumps on you and stays there like a leech.

The XP-Drain:
While it’s on your back, you can’t hit it with your sword! It starts draining your XP levels to heal itself. This would make the caves actually scary.

The Escape:
To get it off, you have to run into the steam of a Sulfur Geyser or Spring. The fumes would be the only way to force the spider to drop off and die. Now it drops a "Cinnaber Crystal" which can also be harvested on the cave walls using Silk Touch.

Uses for Cinnabar Crystals:
Advanced Enchanting:
A rare alternative to Lapis Lazuli. Using Cinnabar Crystals could cost fewer levels per enchant (e.g., 1 level instead of 3 for a Level 30 enchant) or guarantee better secondary enchantments.
Alchemy:
Used to brew "Potions of Insight" (increased XP gain) or resistance against sulfur gases.
Aesthetics:
Can be used as a glowing Armor Trim or a unique decorative crystal block.
This would connect the new blocks, the mobs, and the environment perfectly. The chiseled blocks finally tell a story, and the geysers get a strategic use for survival. What do you think?
