New Mob!

The Soul Seeker

It would be a new addition for end city so like an end city themed mob. Or maybe even for the upcoming sculk dimension where that strange portal like structure suggests it leads. 

Anyway it would be like a soul mob. A lost soul that wants to bond with a living soul. A half-living mysterious, flying creature that flies extremely fast and if it gets to the player, it does really high damage, but upon bonding into the victim's soul, it would essentially dissappear, having absorbed itself into the host's soul. It would be a simple looking glowing blue creatuere resembling glowing squid in texture, but a completely different shape. It would be like a rectangluar prism with sort of sculk looking vines at the back or feathers to stabilize itself as it flies and its eyes at the front but also on the sides. 

There are countermeasures though. This mob likes souls so  it could be countered by bringing animals with you. This is also where having many pets is very useful. Animals also have souls so if an animal is in between you and the soul-seeker, the soul seeker would go for the animal instead.

I think it would be really good mob to challenge elytra using players. It could be faster than elytra fliers but it could also be out-maneuvered because it turns slow due to its speed. Funnily enough, for elytra players, the best counter to this thing dragging chickens on leads behind them because chickens attempt to fly when airborne, floating behind.
