I would love to see a dedicated upgrade of Minecraft Bedrock for a potential Nintendo Switch 2. The current experience on the original Switch is enjoyable, but it is limited by performance, render distance, and memory restrictions.
With more powerful hardware, a Switch 2 version could significantly improve gameplay. Higher and more stable frame rates would make exploring and building smoother. A much larger render distance would allow players to fully experience big worlds, cities, and landscapes without constant chunk loading.
Another important improvement would be increased memory allocation for Minecraft. Allowing around 8 GB of usable memory for the game would make a huge difference. This could enable larger worlds, more complex redstone builds, better add-on support, and smoother multiplayer sessions.
Overall, a Switch 2 upgrade could bring Minecraft Bedrock much closer to the experience available on other modern platforms, while keeping the portability that makes the Switch special.
I hope you consider optimizing Minecraft for future Nintendo hardware. It would greatly improve the experience for many players.
