Considering that the potent sulfur is a tile block, having it check a few blocks down to count the number of magma blocks could allow it to reduce the cooldown for each block. maybe each block reduces the cooldown by a few seconds so you need fewer blocks for the smaller geysers (maybe around 4) but the larger ones would require more (maybe around 8). this would give players more control over the behaviour of the geysers they use in their base and could lead to some very inventive contraptions and mini games
