I would like to suggest a new, extremely rare encounter for Pillager Patrols. Currently, Ravagers are only seen during Raids, which makes them feel a bit limited.
My idea is to add a very small chance (e.g., 1/2000) for a Pillager Captain to spawn riding a Ravager during a standard Patrol.
Ravager would spawn very rare in a patrol, it would share the same awareness as the Pillagers. This means the Ravager would also turn its head to track the player from a distance. If the 10-block 'aggro radius' is triggered, the Ravager attacks the player immediately.
Because the Pillager Captain would be controlling the Ravager, the beast listens to him and won't just chase you on its own. It stays with the patrol and only attacks when the Captain is ready to.
Seeing such a rare sight would be a exciting discovery for players, similar to finding the iconic Pink Sheep encounter.
It wouldn't be difficult for players because it would be a very rare occurrence that most people wouldn't see.
It would also provide a another way to encounter Ravagers outside of the Raids.
