Gribun Village — New Surface Structure for Mushroom Biomes
A small, peaceful village that generates in mycelium biomes and dark forests.
Appearance:
Houses, wells, and gardens built from mushroom blocks, mycelium, and spore carpets. A giant central mushroom (3x3 blocks) with a chest underneath.
What's inside:
Mushroom houses with tiny tables, beds (mycelium patch), and a chest. Mushroom well — water source surrounded by mycelium and mushrooms. Mushroom gardens — small plots with red and brown mushrooms.
Loot in village chests:
Seeds (wheat, beetroot, pumpkin, melon) — 100%
Wood/stone tools — 91%
Ores (coal, iron, lapis, redstone) — 78%
Mushroom Feed — 14%
Dungeon map (leads to Spore Kingdom dungeon) — 17%
Bowl — 33%
Shroomlight — 8%
Shears — 12%
Bone meal — 22%
Mushrooms (red/brown) — 45%
Iron ingot — 6%
Emerald — 4%
Gribun behavior in the village:
Gribuns patrol the village, sometimes stopping to "smell the air" (lift their cap). They greet each other with a soft crackling sound and a little wiggle. At night, they hide inside their caps, looking like ordinary small mushrooms on the ground.
Mushroom Golem (guardian):
Spawns naturally in the village (like iron golems). Crafted by player: 4 mushroom blocks + pumpkin or Mushroom Crown. Health: 40 HP. Damage: 4 + slowness. Protects Gribuns. If you kill a Gribun in front of it, it becomes hostile.
Why this matters:
Gives mushroom biomes unique content. Adds a safe place to find Gribuns, trade (future update), and get dungeon maps.
