The Villager Trade Rebalancing is inherently unfair to Bedrock Edition players. If the goal is to encourage biome exploration, nerfing trades is the wrong way to achieve it. Mojang claims this 'rebalance' is necessary because resetting trades is an exploit, yet they continue to allow Java players to access the Nether Roof—which is a literal terrain exploit. This creates a massive double standard. Java players can easily travel thousands of blocks in safety to reach new biomes via the roof, while Bedrock players are forced to navigate dangerous terrain or travel endlessly through the Overworld. If Mojang intends to finalize this rebalancing, they must remove the Nether Roof exploit to ensure parity, or provide Bedrock players with a comparable, safe long-distance travel method, i.e., access to the nether roof.
