As we all already know, the Nitwit villager does not have any particular function; the only thing that defines it is that it does nothing.
But what if, through books and different blocks, we could turn it into a villager capable of trading the items we give it? For example, we give it a price of 30 breads in exchange for 30 iron.
This could be configurable only by the player who educated it.
In itself, I see it focused on a multiplayer environment to improve trade between players in multiplayer experiences (servers, realms, or local experiences).
Returning to its functionalities, the items that other players trade with this villager would be stored in its inventory so that the player who sold their items receives payment. But to retrieve these items, the player would have to pay a wage to the educated Nitwit to obtain the items. This part is confusing, but I think I make myself understood.
