Support Vibrant Visuals for Older macOS Devices in Minecraft Java Edition

Hello Mojang Studios,

I would like to share feedback about Vibrant Visuals for Minecraft Java Edition.

Please consider supporting older macOS devices, especially older iMac and Mac models that still run Minecraft well today. Many players use older Macs with Intel graphics, and Minecraft Java Edition is still enjoyable on these systems.

It would be great if Vibrant Visuals included performance options for older hardware, such as:

  • Low / Medium / High quality presets

  • Reduced shadows

  • Simpler reflections

  • Lower lighting effects

  • Better optimization for Intel integrated graphics

  • Support for older macOS versions when possible

Many Mac players would love to experience the new graphics update, even with reduced settings. Please don’t forget older macOS users who still enjoy Minecraft.

Thank you for continuing to improve Minecraft Java Edition.
