Adding Arabic language – Minecraft Bedrock Edition

We sincerely hope you will give serious consideration to adding Arabic language support to Minecraft Bedrock Edition. It is unfortunate that, despite many years since the game’s release, Arabic has not yet been supported, even though there is a large and active Arabic-speaking community. According to estimates, the number of Arab players in Minecraft Bedrock exceeds 6 to 8 million, reflecting the size of this community and its strong passion for the game. We are an engaged and enthusiastic community, and we aspire to enjoy a complete gaming experience in our native language. Adding Arabic would not only enhance the experience for Arabic-speaking players, but would also open the door for the game to reach a wider audience across the Arab world. We kindly ask you to take this request into consideration and to work toward supporting the Arabic language as soon as possible.

    Subject: Fix Arabic Font Rendering in Chat, Signs, and Books (Bedrock Edition)

    Message: Hello Minecraft Team,

    I am writing to report a major issue regarding Arabic language support in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. While the Arabic language works perfectly fine in the game's main menus and UI, it is completely broken inside the world itself.

    When playing in both Singleplayer and Multiplayer, Arabic text written in the Chat, on Signs, or inside Books appears either as broken separate letters, completely reversed (from left to right), or sometimes as unreadable symbols/boxes.

    The Arabic community heavily relies on signs and chat to communicate and build in-game. Please fix the text rendering engine for Bedrock Edition so that Arabic letters connect properly from right to left in all text inputs.

    Please add full Arabic language support to Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

    Arabic is spoken by millions of Minecraft players across Saudi Arabia and the entire Arab world. We would really appreciate a complete Arabic translation for the menus, settings, items, and other parts of the game.

    Please also add proper right-to-left text support so Arabic letters display correctly in chat, signs, books, and other text fields.

    Minecraft Java Edition already supports Arabic, and we hope Bedrock Edition will receive full Arabic support as well.
