Details : Playing Minecraft on PS4/console makes navigating the inventory frustrating. The joystick-based cursor has a sensitivity dilemma — too low and it takes forever to move around; too high and it overshoots items constantly. This makes organizing inventory slow and unreliable, especially in time-sensitive situations.
Suggestion : Add an optional gyroscope/motion control mode for inventory navigation. PS4 and PS5 controllers have built-in gyro sensors already used in other games for precision control. Tilting the controller to move the inventory cursor would allow for much more natural and precise navigation. This would be opt-in in settings, so players who prefer the joystick can keep using it. Games like Fortnite already use gyro controls on console successfully, proving it works well. Bringing it to Minecraft's inventory would significantly improve the controller experience.
P.S. : What if you take this a step further, and add gyro-aiming to Minecraft, so tilting/moving the controller would rotate the player's camera in Minecraft.
