It is essential for Minecraft Bedrock on Windows to have a native cloud save system integrated with OneDrive. Currently, players risk losing long-term worlds due to file corruption or accidental deletion.
To demonstrate that this is feasible, I have developed a PowerShell-based solution that automates the process: it packages worlds into .mcworld files and syncs them with OneDrive using the Windows Task Scheduler. This ensures a version history and cross-platform compatibility (Android/iOS).
I strongly suggest that Mojang implements a similar differential sync feature natively upon exiting a world. I have the technical documentation and the script logic ready to share with the community to help while we wait for an official implementation.
