Illusioner spawns once in Wave 7 of Hard-difficulty raids. Drops 20 XP + Enchanted Totem of Undying (new item, stack 1).
Enchanted Totem activates from ANY inventory slot. Priority order: mainhand > offhand > hotbar slots 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 > backpack top-left to bottom-right. If a standard totem is in mainhand, it triggers first (vanilla rule preserved). Does NOT activate vs /kill, void, or bypassing damage.
Effects on activation (clears all existing effects, sets HP to 1):
- Resistance III (30s): 60% damage reduction
- Levitation (2s): lifts to escape melee
- Slow Falling (10s): prevents fall death
- Absorption IV (10s): +16 HP (8 hearts)
- Fire Resistance (60s): stops burning
- Saturation (8 game ticks): instant hunger refill
- Regeneration III (60s): 1 HP per 0.6s
- Strength II (90s): +130% melee damage
Comparator feature: Villager job site blocks (lectern, composter, smithing table, etc.) output redstone signal strength equal to current raid wave number (0 to 7). Enables wave displays and wave-triggered traps.
Why this fits: Illusioner code exists but is unused. Hard difficulty lacks unique rewards. Totem activation from inventory is a long-requested QoL change. Uses existing assets, minimal dev work. Appears only in Hard raids, does not affect normal players.
