In the new snapshot, granite and tuff have been added to the sulfur cave generation gradient, and I've already seen a decent amount of pushback against it.
I'm not saying to remove them - There is a pretty good reason to have them there, after all. Tuff also has the benefit of making Deepslate Emerald and Deepslate Coal ores more common, which benefits builders. But I think they should be reworked to be less intrusive, as they're already fairly common blocks, and interfere with the new content.
Tuff should be changed to generate on the outskirts of the biome, serving more as a transition between normal stone/ores and the new blocks. If ores were given the ability to replace sulfur and cinnabar as well, tuff could generate as borders for that.
Granite, meanwhile, should also have its presence significantly reduced, and primarily be sprinkled in on the boundary between sulfur and cinnabar to help break up harsh color transitions. To visually explain its presence, it could also be sprinkled on the outskirts of lava pools, in a similar way to potent sulfur spawning in water pools.
