Now that the Nintendo Switch 2 is officially available, I am reaching out to share my excitement about the potential for a "next-gen" portable Minecraft experience. With the new hardware’s improved RAM and Nvidia chipset, there is a massive performance ceiling that the original console just didn't have. I believe this is the perfect time to bring the "Vibrant Visuals" features—like volumetric lighting, dynamic shadows, and improved water reflections—to the Nintendo version so it can finally match the quality seen on PC and other high-end consoles.
To make the most of this power, I would love to see either a dedicated "Switch 2 Edition" or a high-performance graphical extension for the Bedrock version. A native release would be amazing for fully utilizing the new chipset to double the render distance and offer a crisp 4K experience when docked. Alternatively, a "Switch 2 Enhancement Pack" that acts as a toggle for these advanced shaders and a more stable frame rate would make a huge difference in my daily gameplay.
The Switch is my favorite way to play Minecraft, and having a visually stunning update for this new hardware would be a dream come true. I really hope you consider prioritizing these graphical and performance upgrades so that the Switch 2 can become the definitive way for me to experience the Overworld on the go. Thank you for all the work you do!
