I think extending the demo to 300 minutes would help new players understand the real depth of Minecraft. The current 100 minutes barely lets you explore the basics, but 300 minutes would let players try the Nether, redstone, and real survival progression. This would make the demo way more useful for beginners and students.

A 300‑minute demo would give new players a real chance to understand Minecraft’s progression. With only 100 minutes, you barely get past early survival. But with 300 minutes, players could explore biomes, try redstone, reach the Nether, and actually experience what makes Minecraft special. This would make the demo far more helpful for beginners and students.

    I have this idea:

The demo timer could start at 150 minutes to begin with. Every time the player unlocks a new milestone, like stepping foot in the Nether, the demo time could go up by an extra 50 minutes.

Small increases (25 minutes extra to demo time on first time):

    • Obtaining a piece of redstone dust.
    • Entering a new difficult biome (such as the deep dark or pale garden, time is increased per biome entered)
    • Entering a stronghold
    • Entering a nether fortress

Bigger increases (50 minutes extra to demo time on first time):

    • Entering the Nether
    • Entering the End
    • Defeating the Ender Dragon.
