(Aether) 

Aether is a Minecraft mod adding the sky dimension. This is a request from the more veteran players and currently, 80% of players want this dimension in the game. (Tamed Dragon)

After defeating the Ender Dragon, we get the egg, right? And what if, by chance, we made an altar where, by placing the dragon egg on this altar, waiting a few days, and the egg hatches, a baby dragon is born? An example mod is Dragon Mounts, but we want to be able to tame dragons in vanilla without mods!

How it could work:  
Hatching: make an altar to hatch the egg after a few days

Age: Instead of baby to adult, as the days go by it grows little by little (centimeter by centimeter), and at most in 500 days it will be in its adult version. There could be variations in maximum size depending on the dragon species (optional, only if you are going to add dragon variations).

Variations: Use the same system as horse variation, where breeding 2 horses of different types results in a better horse. This system could be used with dragons so that we can have faster/stronger/bigger dragons, etc.
