Since the Sulfur Cube got released, us players have discovered that if we give the Sulfur Cube the invisibility potion effect while there's a block in it, the Sulfur Cube itself becomes invisible but the block inside stays visible. This is perfect for building, players can now make dirt slabs and vertical slabs. There is however one problem, if you try to stand on a 'dirt slab' then you basically just phase through it (with some collisions moving you and the sulfur cube around) and if you go too close to a 'vertical slab' then it pushes it into the wall and ruins the effect of it. After I found out about the downsides of this I thought of a solution, making Sulfur Cubes waxable.
Since there are other items that can be frozen as is with honeycomb (like signs and copper blocks) it would make sense for the Sulfur Cube to be able to be waxed with honeycomb so that it not only stays in place but also makes it be able to be stood on and collided with as if it were a block. (Without it being aligned with other blocks.) This would be perfect for builders and it would align with how Mojang wants us players to be creative. I personally think that adding this feature encourages players to be able to do this and adds yet another use for honeycomb and bees.
I hope this idea gets a lot of votes and that Mojang adds this feature to the game as it would probably make a large portion of the Minecraft Community happy.
