Addition of new ores such as tin to make bronze

Recently copper tools were added to the crafting menu. Has anyone considered adding tin as a new ore? Tin could be rarer than copper, then smelted and added to smelted copper to make bronze. In real human history bronze was a much more useful metal for tools than copper.
