Minecraft has evolved a lot over the years, but there is still a big inconsistency in how the world feels alive. Newer mobs like camels and sniffers have detailed animations (sitting, sniffing, interacting), while many older mobs still feel static and outdated.
My suggestion is to bring a full animation and visual overhaul to vanilla Minecraft, inspired by the level of detail seen in marketplace content like "Actions & Stuff".
Here are the main points:
-
Consistent Mob Animations:
All mobs (animals and enemies) should have proper animations. For example:- Animals should have idle, interaction, and movement animations
- Zombies should have better attack animations
- Skeletons should visibly draw and aim their bows
-
Player Animation Improvements:
Add smoother and more dynamic animations for:- Running, jumping, swimming, and attacking
- Directional movement and more expressive actions
-
3D Models for Tools and Weapons (Optional):
Introduce 3D models for tools and weapons to make them feel more modern and immersive (could be a toggleable setting for performance). -
Animation Consistency Across the Game:
Right now, some parts of the game feel modern while others feel very old. This update would unify the visual style and make the game feel more polished overall. -
Make the World Feel Alive:
Small details like sitting, rolling, reacting, or interacting with the environment can make a huge difference in immersion.
