For anyone that is not aware, potent sulfur is a block entity. This means it causes more lag to the world and cannot be moved by pistons. In recent updates, Mojang tried to optimize the game by making beds be actual blocks instead of block entities, but this is pointless with potent sulfur existing.
I think the team should reconsider the implementation of this block. Soul sand and magma blocks also have properties when underwater and they are normal blocks. Why not potent sulfur blocks? It's just objetively worse to have this block be a block entity. It seems like lazy desing and an afterthought.
I propose that the block is reworked into a normal block.
