We should be able to craft gunpowder from sulfur blocks or pointed sulfur. This would give sulfur a practical use and provide another renewable source of gunpowder that has the added benefit of being acquired in peaceful mode. Another alternative is that sulfur cubes could drop sulfur or gunpowder when killed.
