Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

In Minecraft Java Edition, players in Creative Mode can fly through water and lava freely without being forced into the swimming animation or losing their flying speed. This makes building and decorating underwater or in the Nether very efficient.

However, in Bedrock Edition, flying into any liquid automatically triggers the swimming mechanic. This is very frustrating for builders because it slows down movement significantly and changes the camera perspective.

Please bring Java Parity to Bedrock Edition regarding this flight mechanic. We want to be able to fly through liquids in Creative Mode just like in Java Edition, without being forced to swim. This small change would greatly improve the building experience for all Bedrock players. Thank you!
