Ninetendo Switch Miencraft Settings (Bedrock)

Now, yes, I understand that Nintendo Switch is an old console, and I really should just go and get the Switch 2, BUT, I've noticed a lot recently that they keep changing the settings screen and pause screen. But especially on the pause screen, it is EXTREMELY laggy, and every 3 or so times I go to the settings, my console tells me "The software was closed because an error occurred," and it's really starting to annoy me. It never happens in-game, but only when I'm in the settings. I've never had this problem before with any of the other settings screens, but this one is becoming extremely annoying for me when I have to constantly have to keep restarting my console and then going back into the game.
