Hey Mojang how're ya doin'.
Since the recent release of the sulfur cube to java snapshots I've been cooking up this suggestion.
There are two parts to it:
1. Sulfur Tipped Arrow
The sulfur tipped arrow is a projectile fireable from both bow and crossbow. When it hits a block or entity/other projectile, it will ricochet/bounce to the nearest entity besides the one hit.
It can be crafted using a sulfur bubble, dropped when splitting sulfur cubes.
2. Sulfur Covered leggings (or boots)
If a set of leggings are combined with sulfur bubbles in a crafting table, they will become slippery, allowing the wearer to perform a slide-tackle-like movement (hold left ctrl or sprint when crouching), boosting the users speed and lasting a few seconds.
Sliding and taking damage will decrease the leggings durability quickly. If the wearer does not have any more sulfur bubbles in their inventory, the leggings will return to their normal state upon breaking. Otherwise, a sulfur bubble item will be consumed and the leggings' durability will be replenished.
I hope that you take notice of this suggestion and possibly decide to add it.
