The mob behaves like spiders for most of their movement... they can attack/swarm a player after being provoked, each attack has a chance of causing a player to burn, they can interact with certain blocks by moving them around a few blocks with their strong mandibles! they are weak to bane of arthropods and drop rotten flesh when they are killed, along with a chance of dropping one of their mandibles, which can be combined with another one and a piston to create an extensible arm that equips on the chest slot. the extensible arm would just extend the range of all tools and placement. it could consume durability per use, be compatible with mending maybe? (or not, its kinda op) then add the "extension" enchantment from I to III, each one extending the range a little bit more. i feel like the game is in need of some "classic behavior" hostile mobs and fire ants could be one of them... and we've been getting a lot of weapons and movement updates but nothing in regards to "tools" other than being able to craft them using copper... the item sounds reasonable and balanced and completely optional. hope you guys like the idea :D
