I’d like to suggest bringing the “Sulfur Cube ziplining” behavior from Bedrock Edition into Java Edition as an official feature.
Currently, sticky Sulfur Cubes in Bedrock can attach to ceilings and be used as a form of zipline-like transportation. While this may be unintentional, it introduces a unique and intuitive movement mechanic that feels very natural within Minecraft’s physics and sandbox design.
Adding this to Java Edition would give players a new way to traverse environments, especially in vertical or cave-based builds. It opens up creative opportunities for map makers, adventure worlds, and survival bases without requiring complex Redstone or command systems.
This feature fits well with Minecraft’s philosophy of emergent gameplay, where simple mechanics combine to create new possibilities. Similar to how features like water elevators or slime block launchers became widely accepted, this mechanic could evolve into a useful and fun transportation option.
I believe formalizing this behavior would enhance creativity and parity between editions while giving players a fresh, skill-based movement tool.
Thank you for your consideration.
