Accessibility: Voice Control

I have enjoyed Minecraft on my iPad for quite some time until recent updates have made it increasingly difficult to play. I just purchased Java for my Mac but it is nearly impossible to with all of the keyboard requirements due to a high spinal cord injury from many years ago. I have researched voice control mods with the only results being a third party app for Windows. Are there any plans to further develop accessibility within Minecraft? Do you know of any mods that allow voice controls for Minecraft on a Mac? I would be happy to help in any way possible.
