Making the sulfur caves more hostile

Sulfur Caves are really cool, but they should honestly be more dangerous.
To solve this, I'll propose a new hostile mob idea:
The scorched. A new variant to the zombie, it would be darker, slower, and look melted in some parts. I imagine it showing bones on the top of its head and the side of its arms.
Its hit speed would be slower than a normal zombie and it would either give blindness or nausea on hit.
On death, it would spawn a skeleton without a bow on its place.
It would spawn naturally in the sulfur caves or when a zombie falls in sulfuric water. It would be immune to drowning.

    Why would it spawn a skeleton when it dies? Is that like a rotting corpse idea (flesh gets cut off and leaves a skeleton)? It seems like an interesting idea, but this just confuses me.

    yeah, it's exactly that. When I thought of this I had a rotting corpse in mind
