The Strategist & Stalker Update: Dynamic Rivals
Concept: Transition Minecraft from a "Static Sandbox" to a "Living History" where Witches and Illagers act as rival archaeologists rather than basic mobs.
I. Core Philosophy
The world is active before you arrive. Witches and Illagers aren't "monsters"; they are experts who have studied the "Ancient Builders" for centuries. You are their competition.
II. Strategist AI
The Witch (Researcher): Enters a "Deathly Gaze" state to analyze your gear. She uses Potions of Invisibility/Swiftness to stalk you. If you leave an excavation site, she may "loot" it or leave traps. The Illager (Tactical Predator): Patrols set up campsites (tents/fires) near ruins. If you kill a Captain, a "Tracker" Vex follows your trail (torches/broken blocks) to locate your base.
III. "Who Gets It First" Loop
Dynamic Excavation: Rivals use Brushes at Trail Ruins. If they find rare loot first, you must infiltrate their camps to steal it back. Visual Storage: Humanoid mobs carry visible bags containing their loot and potions.
IV. Stranger Things Atmosphere
Evidence: Find smoldering fires or half-eaten stew in the wild, proving you're being followed. The Silence: Music cuts out when a Witch gazes at you from the shadows.
Why it Works: It solves the "Static World" problem, rewards stealth/camouflage, and adds endgame depth. The world is a cold war for ancient knowledge.
