Hello, I am a map developer who creates maps using commands.
In Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.4, the /damage command was introduced.
This command allows developers to apply damage with precise values, specific damage types, and defined sources or locations. It has been extremely useful for map development and custom gameplay systems.
However, there is currently no equivalent command for controlling player healing with precise values.
It would be very helpful if Minecraft added a command that allows developers to heal entities using specific numbers. This would improve map design, minigames, RPG mechanics, and custom systems that require accurate health control.
For example, a command like this would be very useful:
/heal [target] [amount]
or
/heal [target] max
Even a simple instant healing command would make a big difference for map makers and command developers.
