Skunk:
Visual Design & Biome Integration:
the Skunk design should be imported directly from Minecraft Dungeons into Minecraft as it perfectly match the aesthetic of Vanilla animals design. These neutral mobs would feel right at home in Forests, Birch Forests, and Taigas, waddling through the undergrowth during twilight hours.
The "Spray" Defense (Area Denial): Unlike any other mob, the Skunk would introduce a unique defensive mechanic. If attacked or startled by a hostile mob (like a Wolf), the Skunk would release a "stink cloud" (a localized particle effect). This cloud wouldn't deal heavy damage but would apply a new status effect called "Pungent Odor."
The "Pungent Odor" Effect: Mobs affected by this smell would actively try to pathfind away from the source. This makes the Skunk a "living deterrent." Players could lead a Skunk to their base or village to act as a natural, non-lethal guard that keeps Creepers or Zombies at a distance.
Potion Ingredient (Brewing Potential): Instead of killing Skunks, Players could fill empty glass bottles by right-clicking on the Stink cloud. Skunks could provide a new brewing ingredient. This could be used to create Potions of Repulsion, which prevent hostile mobs from targeting the player for a short duration.
