Diamond rarity

Make diamond veins have a max of three ore, also make diamonds in incredibly more rare. Doing this would give builders far more time to enjoy the sandbox of the overworld before the game is over. It would also keep the challenge in places like structures around the overworld because you wouldn’t have diamond tools, and you might actually have to go to these overworld structures for possible diamonds before going to the nether or end. Making diamonds drastically more rare would greatly increase the playtime and the joy from the game for different types of players except speed runners.

  All this would accomplish is make people make villager farms earlier. 
  
  Also you're just blatantly wrong on it "Giving builders more time to have fun before the game is over" For builders diamond tools are only the start as they enable you to gather the resources for building faster.
