The sulphur cube texture/model should be changed.
The model should have 3 layers like the slime cube, an innermost layer that is replaced with a block when fed, a middle layer being the face of the cube, and an outermost transparent layer.
The texture of the face should not be black. The eyes and mouth are too stark. The face should use a darker shade of the pale yellow used on the rest of the texture.
Alternatively, without a model change, the face could also use the color of whatever block the sulphur cube has consumed i.e. the consumed block would have an opaque pale yellow texture everywhere but the eyes and mouth which would have the more saturated standard texture of the block.
Also, consider giving the sulphur cube expressions. The sulphur cube could have a different face for when it has consumed a block.
