My device is the Xiaomi 15T Pro, with the MediaTek 9400+ CPU. My friend has the Samsung S24 Ultra. I see this as a battle between flagship phones, but somehow S24 Ultra with the Snapdragon chip was running much better on max graphics with 12 chunks of visibility. I run on high lighting, and ultra textures. Somehow, he ran his game like he was on PC. I am aware of the vapor chamber Samsung has, the point I'm trying to make is that why optimize much more expensive chips? It would be a great game changer to give access to everyone, especially since MediaTek chips tend to be much cheaper, especially with my Dimensity 9400+ phone which has a stronger GPU and yet performs worse on vibrant graphics than he did and we had roughly the same settings. My game looked like it was on a budget gaming laptop while he ran it like he was on a decked out PC. The difference was huge, the smoothness hit harder on his end, my device despite being a flagship cheaper than the Samsung S24 Ultra on release can't handle be on the same level as him, despite having a stronger GPU on tests like Antutu. I think MediaTek Chips deserve optimization, especially that they tend to be much more accessible and cheaper than Snapdragon chips. This would be on the same philosophy as Minecraft in the first place. I shall wait until the optimization comes, and see if MediaTek Chips are given attention for Minecraft.
