The direction minecraft is going

After the new snapshots all i got to say is im glad a newer generation of minecraft players like these updates as older minecraft players abandon the game. I throw items all the time. So an allay to pick them back up and play fetch? I better be able to kill it. I want nothing to do with the allay. I am constantly dropping stacks of useless blocks for a reason. After experiencing the warden and the deep dark im again dissappointed. There is no point to this. And end fortresses are still floating in the middle of caves which is boring and un imaginative. Overall it seems that minecraft is moving away from itself to be something it is not. The focus is being taken away from the goal of defeating the ender dragon in exchange for a ton of new blocks no one wants.
