We already paid for minecraft.
You now demand biometric information in order to contnue playing it. We won't do that, and so we feel cheated. Can we get a refund?
You have chosen a shady US outfit (Yoti) for age verification. We can't trust this organisation. You don't even give us the ability to choose our own independent age verification provider.
And the risks of sharing biometric information is too high. They will get hacked, they will get leaked, and they will get misused. This is inevitable and ALWAYS happens. When not if.
And sharing it with a US organisartion adds to the risk of misuse.
This is a bad idea and you should not do it.
I am NOT going to give you or Yoti my biometric data.
For non-technical readers, let me explain it like this. If a password is compromised, we can change our passwords. But if our biometric information is compromised, we can't change our fingerprints or iris pattern or any other biometric features.
Minecraft when it was not Microsoft would never have given in to the shadowy US surveillance system.
