Potent Creeper in the new Sulfur Caves, used to make Potent Potions

While they deal less damage, Potent Creepers leave a cloud of Potent Sulfur where they explode, which lasts a minute and deals damage and nausea when walked into. If you splash a potion on a sulfur creeper, when they explode, their cloud also provides whatever potion effect the creeper had!

From the creeper's explosion, you can collect Potent Sulfur in bottles like collecting dragon's breath, and use them to make Potent Potions, a new potion type that leaves a cloud of a desired effect (however also deals nausea and small damage).

  new creeper varient would be focusing on the creeper's ability to be used as a lingering potion. Definitely can see sulfur as a brewing ingredient as well.
