Make the Autosave Feature adjustable

I’m very unsure if people are suffering similarly, but the Autosave feature does seem like a good idea on the surface, but absolutely obliterates my device’s preformance, which wasn’t an issue before. Would it be possible to make that feature toggelable or adjustable? So that you can make the save intervals a bit more farther apart or off entirely? I’m mainly suggesting that, in case some people are genuinely finding this feature useful, which I do in terms of cutting down on saving time at the end of a session.
