Aimless ancient cities

The new deep dark biome, although very meat looking and interesting to explore, currently serves no purpose to explore. The ancient city has very little valuable about it that makes it worth the risk to explore. The only valuable items are the various sculk blocks but those are easily farmed by collecting a catalyst. Even so these blocks are mainly for redstone players. The loot in the ancient cities is also insufficient as the new enchant is excusively useful for exploring the ancient city. Otherwise the only thing going down here to explore will grant you is a shortcut to making candles and making it unnecessary to farm bees. Although it is obvious there are big plans for the “portal” in the city centre the rest of the city appears to be suffering from some sort of aimlessness that can be so easily solved by rewarding the player greatly for taking on the risk of exploring these vast cities

    To my mind, this snapshot is only here to present the skulk and warden features, and the special items will be for a other...
