Bedrock Edition is played by millions across mobile, console, and PC, but it still lacks several key features that make Java Edition feel more complete. One of the biggest missing features is true shader support. Players want real shaders with proper lighting, shadows, reflections, and better water instead of limited visuals. This would greatly improve the look of the game. Another issue is the off-hand system, which is very limited in Bedrock. Players should be able to use tools, weapons, food, and blocks in the off-hand just like in Java for better gameplay. Combat also needs improvement, as Bedrock lacks attack cooldown and balanced PvP mechanics. Adding optional combat settings would help a lot. Players should also be able to control regeneration and survival mechanics through gamerules. More advanced graphics settings like fog, lighting, and render distance are also needed for better performance and customization. Redstone differences should be reduced to match Java more closely. Finally, custom HUD options would improve usability. Adding these features would make Bedrock more powerful and enjoyable for everyone.
