Getting a bottle and right clicking over the Sulfur Gas turns it into a Potion of Nausea which can be turned into a Splash Potion of Nausea by using gunpowder at a brewing stand potions of nausea will make mobs move in random directions. I believe this would add more use to the gas instead of just a cool visual effect
